The main advantages of the Highster Mobile spy app are the price and month-to-month subscription. The price of the “Pro” plan costs only 14% of the monthly subscription to mSpy. The main disadvantages of the Highster Mobile app are the difficult installation, poor customer service, and inconsistent operation of the app.
While Highster Mobile claims to offer most of the same features as competitive spy apps such as mSpy and uMobix, our testing found the product to be basically useless.

How Does Highster Mobile Work?
The two different versions of Highster Mobile work in two different ways. The no-jailbreak app simply allows access to all of the phone’s backed up data on the iCloud.
All of this data is loaded into your user control panel from your internet connection for easy access.
The jailbreak option actually sends data to DDI (the makers of of the spy software package) servers where it is stored for you to review at your convenience.
While the two versions work in different ways the results are the same: the data is displayed in an easy to use online dashboard.
Highster Mobile Installation Instructions & Guide
The installation process for the app differs slightly depending upon the target device. For iOS devices there is a no-jailbreak and jailbroken version of the app. Let’s take a quick look at how to install the tracking software on each type of device.
Apple iPhone & iOS Devices
Highster Mobile is capable of working on most iOS devices including iPhones, iPads, iPod touch, and iPad Mini’s. Depending upon the capabilities you need, you will select either the jailbreak or no-jailbreak installation.
Highster Mobile No Jailbreak
To install Highster on a non-jailbroken iPhone or iOS device you’ll only need the Apple ID and password for the target device. Once you’ve purchased the product you will receive an email with the login credentials for your online dashboard.
Once you login you will simply enter the Apple ID email address and password and you will then be able to view all of the data stored on the phone through it’s iCloud account.
Keep in mind that this version will NOT allow you to read Facebook messenger chats or most other chatting apps.
Jailbreak Version
Jailbreaking will require physical access to the phone and many of the Highster reviews I’ve read confirm my difficulties with the software after reboots and software updates.
For those who are looking for more capability, the jailbreak version of Highster offers complete access to everything on the target phone. The installation of Highster Mobile is also more involved, but you will receive step-by-step instructions on how to proceed once you’ve signed up for the service including app installation and your license key.
How to Use Highster Mobile
One strong point of the Highster Mobile tracking software is that it is easy to use. It offers an intuitive online dashboard in which all monitoring features are clearly laid out.
Everything about the target mobile device is clearly labeled and displayed in the dashboard that you can access from a computer, smartphone, or tablet.
You’ll be able to see the physical location of the phone, call logs, and everything else we’ve discussed in a matter of moments.
This dashboard allows you to quickly switch between multiple target devices. This is great for parents with multiple children, or companies with multiple employees.

Is Highster a Good Solution for Employers?
Employers who are looking to keep track of what their employees are doing during work hours can use cell phone spy software like Highster to accomplish this.
Even if the phone is company owned, employees must be notified if you will be monitoring them.
Is Highster Mobile Detectable?
The user of the device will not be able to detect the apps installation. Both the jailbreak and no-jailbreak version are invisible on the target phone.
How to Un-install Highster Mobile?
Uninstalling the app is very straightforward. From within the online control panel you’ll click on “Settings” then choose “Uninstall Code”. Then send the code as a text message to the mobile device. This will cause the app to be uninstalled. The user of the phone will be unaware.
Free Trial
Sometimes the folks at Highster Mobile offer a free trial of their software.
Currently they are offering a “free” trial of the app with just a $3.95 setup fee. This is a pretty reasonable offer on one of the top tracking apps out there. This offer is available for both the iPhone and Android spy products.
Final Thoughts
With it’s one-time purchase price Highster Mobile is one of the most popular tracking apps out there.
That said, the difficulties I had with installation and with the app crashing were unacceptable considering the stability of it’s competitors like Spyic and mSpy.
If you have need of some of the more advanced features of spyware like call recording and live call listening then an app like FlexiSPY, is a better solution.
